Bayou Bend, a proposed 234-acre master planned community, consisting of approximately 700 single family lots, is located on Brazoria County Road 191 south of Alvin. The acreage is being developed by Windy Hill Development, a Houston based real estate development company. Connor Investment Real Estate (CIRE), under CIRE Land Fund II, is providing financing in the form of a land bank to the developer. CIRE Land Fund II acquired the property in June. Entitlement work is underway and construction will start immediately following receipt of all permits and approvals.
