According to a report recently released from the U.S. Census Bureau, Texas gained more residents than any other state in the past year. From July 2017 to July 2018, the inflow of people along with the number of births outpaced the outflow of people along with the number of deaths in Texas. The estimate shows Texas added 379,128 residents during this 12-month period.

“Transplant” residents account for the bulk of the state’s population growth. Texas entices new residents from all over the country with an attractive cost of living, temperate climate, relaxed lifestyle, and plentiful job opportunities.
